Meet Your Guide

Sarah Vosen, L.Ac.

When you’re in burnout, you don’t just need tools—you need someone who knows how to hold you in a space where your nervous system can finally relax.

Sarah has been doing that for 20+ years. She is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, with a 4-year Master’s degree in Chinese Medicine from AIMC Berkeley.

Committed to honoring the connection of body, mind, and spirit—while focused on playfully exploring trust within self and community—Sarah has a gift for translating the complex science of the nervous system into moments of deep relief, clarity, and forward movement.

Funding Your Coaching

Coaching doesn’t always need to come out of pocket. Many organizations sponsor coaching for leaders and people managers, and if you run your own business, coaching may be deductible as a business expense.

Company-Supported Coaching

Many companies cover coaching through Learning & Development, HR, or wellness benefits.

  • Ask whether coaching qualifies as professional development or leadership training.
  • Highlight outcomes: clarity, performance, team support, and sustainable capacity.
  • Need a template? Use our sample “ask” email at the bottom of this page.

Entrepreneurs & Small Business Owners

Coaching is often treated as a legitimate business expense (e.g., professional development).

  • Recordkeeping matters: retain your receipt and program details.
  • Align the engagement to business outcomes (leadership, strategy, productivity).
  • Note: Always consult your tax professional for guidance in your jurisdiction.

This information is provided for general educational purposes and is not legal, tax, or accounting advice.

UNFRIED – Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this program for?
UNFRIED is for mission-driven, high-achieving folks who are done DIY-ing recovery and want structure, support, and science-backed tools that actually fit real life.
What if I can’t make every call?
Live is best—but every call is recorded and shared privately with your cohort. You’ll also stay connected in our Signal group between sessions.
How big are the cohorts?
Each cohort is capped at 6 participants (12 total spots across two October cohorts) so you get personal attention and a tight-knit group.
What happens if I want to stop the program?
Please enroll only if it feels aligned. Payments already made are non-refundable, but you can stop participation and end future payments at any time.
I’ve tried other burnout programs—how is this different?
UNFRIED blends teaching + implementation labs so you practice (not just learn). Sarah is live on every call offering individualized feedback you can apply immediately.
Do I get 1:1 support?
Yes. You’ll get a private 1:1 with Sarah at the end to map your Next Best Step, and many group moments feel like mini 1:1s thanks to tailored coaching.
How much time should I plan weekly?
Calls are 75 minutes. Plan an additional 30–60 minutes for reflection and small shifts. UNFRIED is built to fit your life, not overwhelm it.
What happens after the program ends?
You’ll get a complimentary month in our Grads program for ongoing accountability, momentum, and community with people who “get it.”
How do I choose my cohort?
After your application is approved, you’ll select the Oct 7 or Oct 8 start. Same structure—choose what fits your schedule best.
What if I’m nervous about joining a group?
Totally normal. Most people feel that way at first. By the second call, you’ll feel how safe, supportive, and energizing this group space really is.
